Job Title: Equipment Planning Specialist

At Sandvik, we are seeking an experienced Equipment Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Parts and Services Operations, you will be responsible for optimizing planning and resource allocation to enhance productivity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor work schedules for capital equipment delivery, machine rebuilds, and major component repairs.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient coordination of resources, equipment, and materials.
  • Manage preventative maintenance and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Identify and address labour or parts shortages, and review past job data to improve processes.
  • Support the Workshop team and establish client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in workshop or heavy industry, focusing on mobile equipment and component repairs.
  • Strong background in resource allocation, inventory management, and experience with mobile and fixed plant mining equipment.
  • Proactive, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for fostering interpersonal relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel, along with exposure to contract and contractor management.
  • A relevant trade or tertiary qualification in maintenance is required.
