About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our ServiceNow team. As a key member of our SRE team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide relief and sustainable resolution to issues within our infrastructure.
- Use your experience in software development, systems engineering, and networking to proactively prevent repeatable issues.
- Drive initiatives with partner teams to improve the reliability and performance of the infrastructure through improved system design.
- Drive a culture of intolerance to manual activity, resulting in a highly automated environment delivering scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Linux systems.
- Coding experience, preferably in Python or JavaScript.
- Networking skills, including IP addressing and routing protocols.
- Experience in databases (MySQL, Postgres), performance, replication, and high availability.
- Monitoring of systems, applications, and networks.
- Uncompromising attention to detail.
- Ability to work one weekend day on a 4 days/week work schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud architecture or web applications engineering.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical area.
