About the Role

Nuix is seeking a skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the reliability, performance, and scalability of our software. You will work closely with our development teams to troubleshoot critical production issues and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure, including physical and cloud networks, and AWS environments.
  • Maintain operational excellence across our cloud environments.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and service records.
  • Work with engineering teams to integrate pipelines, deployments, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and interface with product support and engineering teams.
  • Manage and resolve systems vulnerabilities.
  • Work with the wider Platforms team to deliver continuous improvement across all IT processes.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven record of up-time, understanding HA, SLA management, and Change Control workflows.
  • Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems.
  • Deep financial understanding of cloud compute.
  • Demonstrated experience in running successful infrastructure projects to completion.

Desirable

  • Experience implementing with IaC using several scripting languages.
  • Good understanding of DevOps process.
  • Understanding of cyber security practices and toolsets.
  • A proponent for change within the organisation.
