About the Role

In this unique role, you will:

  • Provide internal escalation for pharmaceutical clinical advice
  • Assess and process medicinal cannabis funding submissions and RPBS written authority funding applications
  • Advise DVA on appropriate clinical treatment within the DVA health entitlements legislation
  • Provide specialized clinical, business, and policy advice
  • Support program and provider audit/reviews under an agreed assurance procedural framework
  • Respond to health evidence queries from business areas within DVA
  • Liaise with external providers in relation to requests for services under an agreed procedural framework

About You

We're looking for Pharmacists with a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. You will work in a casual capacity from our DVA Brisbane CBD office and must be an Australian citizen able to attain and maintain a baseline security clearance from the Defence security and vetting service.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
  • At least 5 years current clinical experience
  • Strong critical analysis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and judgement in dealing with client-related issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member
