About the Role
  We are seeking a skilled Clinical Expert to join our team at Amplar Health, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of medical management for our patients. As a dedicated Medical Practitioner, you will provide expert medical advice and support to patients, our teams, and health practitioners involved in the management of acute and subacute care in the home.

  Your key responsibilities will include conducting virtual consultations with patients, reviewing and approving care plans for high-risk patients, managing medications, and liaising with treating specialists and regular GPs. You will also contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and review clinical outcomes at a cohort level.

  As a member of our team, you will be provided with the equipment and technology to enable you to work from home, offering a great flexible option to extend your career. Sessions are available Monday to Friday between 9am to 6pm and weekend mornings only. You will need to be available for at least 2 sessions a week, which are 3-4 hours in length each.

  The ideal candidate will have full unconditional AHPRA registration and be an early career General Practitioner or recently trained hospital resident/ registrar, preferably PGY4+ with BPT, FRACGP or FACRRM. Your ability to apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience in determining the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations, and treatment of patients with acute conditions will be highly regarded, as will your confidence in providing virtual care.
