Procurement Specialist

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including planning, tendering, negotiation, contract management, purchasing and spend management.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement team.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or progress towards a relevant qualification.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience in strategic procurement, preferably in a complex organisation.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to develop and present high-level reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Criteria
  • Tertiary qualification and/or commercial experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience in the planning, development and/or management of high risk, complex contracts.
  • Highly-developed written communication skills.
