Project Management Office Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead and oversee the PMO function. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

The role involves establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and governance frameworks. You will provide strategic oversight and performance monitoring to support project managers and stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing project reporting requirements to align with contract and corporate objectives.
  • Driving system integration with client and company systems as well as internal project delivery, finance, and procurement processes.
  • Interface with project managers, commercial teams, and delivery teams to ensure alignment.
  • Developing procurement programs and cash flow forecasting to align with project timelines.

The ideal candidate will bring multiple years of experience as a PMO Manager or Project Controls Manager within construction, engineering, or a similar industry. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in project management software preferably MPower.
  • Strong commercial and contract acumen, previous involvement in project tracking, reporting, and managing documentation.
  • Sound communication skills with a proven track record of building effective client relationships.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing project schedules, budgets, and reports.
