Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively to support the development of engaging and ambitious graphic design ideas that enhance the visitor experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Design team in all stages of graphic design for exhibitions, programs, events, and commercial projects.
  • Develop and present design ideas confidently in meetings and presentations, including suggesting alternative approaches and ensuring effective liaison with staff at all levels.
  • Assist with the coordination of exhibition environmental graphics, labels, didactic texts, wayfinding signage, illustrative and information graphic material, and other visual communications.
  • Maintain, review, and update wayfinding and other related signage as required.
  • Liaise with external contractors on all aspects of exhibition graphic design, production, coordination, scheduling, installation, project, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Approved degree or diploma in Graphic Design or allied field.
  • Experience in a design environment, particularly in museums or similar environments.
  • Proven ability to conceptualise, design, plan, and produce displays and associated graphic material.
  • Skills in current digital design practices, including wayfinding, branding, and product design.
