
Perioperative Department Leader

An Associate Nurse Unit Manager plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the Perioperative department.
This leadership position involves providing advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the department, complementing the strategic direction, operational processes, and business goals of the unit and hospital.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the efficient operation of the Perioperative department
- Providing support to all members of the nursing team
- Leading and directing the department to achieve organisational objectives
About You:
- You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in this role is essential
- Strong clinical skills are required for success in this position
