Asian Cuisine is a work of passion. Our team at Novotel Devonport prides itself on providing outstanding service and an exciting F&B concept.

We are looking for a Senior Culinary Leader to join our culinary team, help us celebrate the notion of Asian street food with a modern, urban twist in Devonport.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assist senior chefs with menu preparation, ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service.
Maintain presentation standards and cost control.
Implement programs to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Lead by example as a leader of the team.
Supervise the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef or allocated chefs.
Delegate duties and responsibilities to kitchen employees to ensure service demands are met.
Minimise food waste.

**Requirements**

Absolutely necessary skills: Previous experience in a similar role, trade qualification in commercial cookery, leadership experience within a professional kitchen environment, demonstrated experience with dietary requirements, strong knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP management and compliance with local health and safety regulations.

Prioritised skills: Food Safety Supervisor certificate, excellent communication and leadership skills, creative culinary mind, up to date on local and international food trends, flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
