Job Opportunity: Client Services Coordinator
Toll Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Client Services Coordinator to join our Global Forwarding team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless freight forwarding operations.
About the Role:
- Act as the primary point of contact for major customer accounts, providing timely and accurate information to meet their needs.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient processing of shipments and resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and reconcile shipping line issues, including transhipment, detention, and demurrage liabilities.
- Coordinate and assist in creating client implementation plans, including completing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and liaising with CRM and other departments to deliver information management requirements.
- Promote excellence through efficiency, safety, and maintaining legal compliance matters.
- Adhere to Chain of Responsibility regulations for goods movement.
Requirements:
- Experience in freight forwarding with operations and/or customer service experience.
- Knowledgeable about freight forwarding requirements, markets, and regulations.
- Excellent communication abilities for interactions with department managers, suppliers, clients, and vendors.
- Possesses a methodical, organized, and detail-oriented approach while meeting time requirements.
- Results-oriented and resilient, focused on achieving desired outcomes.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
