About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to fill the role of Food Production Operator in our salad processing facility in Bairnsdale. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to lift between 15-20kg repetitively, and have basic numeracy and literacy skills. They will also be eager to learn and adapt to daily challenges, and have a high regard for food safety, quality assurance, and HACCP.

  • Achieve output and line speed targets within set timeframes
  • Ensure quality and reliability in a fast-paced production environment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A proactive-can do attitude with an invested interest in continuous improvement
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • A willingness to work in a cold environment (between 2-4 degrees)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
