Community Engagement Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Community Engagement Specialist to promote our services and foster connections within local communities.

As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness of our Home Health services and attracting new customers and referrals.

About Your New Role:
  • Establish partnerships with community stakeholders to engage and promote our Home Health services.
  • Present Australian Unity's products and services through various community channels and events.
  • Build strong relationships within your local Aboriginal community to create product awareness and familiarity with the Aboriginal Home Health brand.
About You:
  • You will possess a deep understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • A genuine passion and commitment for working in aged care and Home Health.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and delivering policies and procedures for services within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
  • A proactive and contributing member of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
  • The ability to identify, quantify and nurture local relationships to attract new customers and identify unmet needs in the community.
  • Desire to support and empower your Elders and Mob.
