Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Community Outreach Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in improving health outcomes and increasing access to healthcare services for diverse communities.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies to engage with clients from various backgrounds, working closely with health services, healthcare providers, community leaders, and stakeholders. You will use data and our database to plan, implement, and evaluate projects aimed at increasing breast screening participation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute outreach programs to promote breast screening services and improve health literacy among target audiences.
  • Buid strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community leaders, and government agencies.
  • Design and create engaging promotional materials that effectively communicate our message to diverse groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of outreach programs, making adjustments as needed to optimize impact.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless implementation of outreach initiatives.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as health education, communications, or social sciences.
  • Experience working with data and databases to inform program development and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse groups.
  • Proven experience in design and content creation, including proficiency in InDesign and PowerPoint.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to learn and adapt.
