Job Title: Anesthesiology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Anesthesiology Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.

This role will provide comprehensive anesthesia services across four operating theaters and a broad elective surgical caseload.

  • Provide anesthesia for a range of procedures, including Orthopedic, General Surgery, Dental, Urology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology cases.
  • Deliver anesthesia for ASA 1–5 patients, perioperative airway management, ventilation, and acute pain services.
  • Contribute to perioperative assessments, patient optimization, and procedural planning in collaboration with Surgical and Emergency Department teams.
  • Participate in on-call duties, respond to trauma and emergency airway needs as required, and engage in perioperative outpatient consultancy.
Requirements:
  • Hold a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of ANZCA or recognized specialist pathways.
  • Have recent and comprehensive anesthesia experience, demonstrating expertise in patient care and safety.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, collaboration abilities, and leadership qualities to work effectively within an interdisciplinary framework.
  • Be committed to continuous professional development, peer review, and clinical governance, with a focus on improving individual and societal health outcomes.
