Job Title: Surgical Territory Manager

This role involves managing sales activities in NSW and ACT for a portfolio of surgical equipment, OR technology and procedural surgical instruments. As a successful candidate, you will plan, organise and implement sales programs to achieve maximum growth and profitability within the strategic direction of the business unit.

The territory manager will be responsible for direct field sales responsibilities, representing the entire assigned product portfolio within a specific designated geographic territory. This includes regularly reviewing priority accounts and developing tactical sales plans to maintain existing business and acquire new business for the company.

You will also drive the use of the Corporate CRM, ensuring that Gap Maps, competitive information, sales opportunities/pipelines, customer database and customer communications are streamlined and accurate for the appointed regions. Additionally, you will generate new accounts where there may not be a presence, through high sales activity and customer engagement.

  • Direct day-to-day field sales responsibilities
  • Regularly review priority accounts and develop tactical sales plans
  • Drive use of the Corporate CRM
  • Generation of new accounts
  • Cultivate and achieve maximal existing and future revenue through existing accounts
  • Maintains thorough understanding of customer objectives, purchasing criteria, and decision-making processes

A strong background in medical device or capital equipment sales is essential, as well as prior field sales experience in a business-to-business capacity. Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills are also required, along with the ability to travel a minimum of 50%.
