As the Digitisation Lead, you will be responsible for implementing a digital preservation program at our institution. This position involves overseeing a team of professionals to deliver high-quality digitisation and digital preservation services that ensure our rich collections are stored, managed, accessible, and preserved.
- Developing and launching efficient digitisation systems and processes to support our core functions in learning, teaching, and research.
- Engaging with new technologies and collaborating with stakeholders across the institution to drive innovation and improvement.
- Motivating and developing a high-performance team to deliver strategic and operational objectives.
This key position requires a proven track record in managing digitisation functions, leading teams, and providing expert advice at both strategic and operational levels. The successful candidate will work closely with leaders across the institution to support the delivery of our strategy and operations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team, as well as engage with stakeholders at all levels. They will also possess a strong understanding of digital preservation principles and practices, and be able to design and implement effective digitisation systems and processes.
