Senior Manager RoleThe Senior Manager will report directly to the CIO and be at the heart of safeguarding SA Water's IT and OT environments, sponsor our very large cyber program and lead the cyber and resilience strategy and implementations. As we are a critical infrastructure provider, you will work with national and state regulators and continue to improve our environment in an agile way with a focus on risk management, preparedness, prevention and resilience.
This role is a critical leadership position where you will collaborate across the organisation, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to embed cyber security and resilience into every aspect of our business operations and balance the need to protect with the opportunity to enable.
You will inspire and guide your team to reach their full potential, ensuring consistency, service excellence, and alignment with our core values and broader business goals.
About YouWe are seeking a strategic, highly skilled leader with a proven track record in cyber security and resilience. Experience in critical infrastructure sectors, such as utilities, mining, or heavy infrastructure, is desirable. You enjoy working with technology experts, executive teams, board members, industry partners and other stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities- Lead the Cyber Security and Resilience team to drive strategic priorities, build a collaborative culture, and ensure team performance is aligned with SA Water's business goals.
- Develop and implement cyber security strategies, policies, and risk management processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the Information Security Management System (ISMS), manage cyber security incidents, and continuously improve risk management processes to ensure the organisation's resilience.
- Develop and maintain cyber security standards and practices, conduct security reviews, and lead cyber security exercises in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Safeguard SA Water's critical information and technology assets by developing systems and processes for risk management, monitoring threats, and providing specialist advice on security implementation.
- Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or Business Management.
- Strong knowledge of laws, policies, and standards applicable to information and cyber security for critical infrastructure providers.
- Significant experience in cyber leadership roles managing complex and diverse cyber security and resilience functions.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain Cyber Security Management Systems in complex organisations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate outcomes and work with senior leaders across the organisation.
Salary: $180,000 per annum + attractive relocation allowance
