Job Description

About Cyber Security Solutions Expert Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Solutions Expert to join our team and assist with projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an IT and OT environment, similar to SA Power Networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide architectural services to deliver projects, working in partnership with technology services owners and leaders.
  • Support OT delivery teams to prepare for future planning and scoping technical solutions.
  • Offer technical architecture advice and leadership to OT delivery and operational teams.
  • Develop and present summaries of architecture deliverables to senior leaders, highlighting the value of Cyber Security.
  • Maximize and communicate the value of Cyber Security solutions.
  • Engage senior management and diverse stakeholders with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Communicate high-level ideas both verbally and in writing.

The successful candidate will be dynamic, flexible, and creative, with an Agile mindset critical to the success of the engagement. They will also act in alignment with the IT Guiding Principles: Be Dynamic, Always Evolving, Challenge and Be Challenged, and Be Mindful.

Scope of Works:

  • Create and document cybersecurity requirements for Dynamic Exports, including Inverters, Cloud Aggregators, and scaling materiality thresholds.
  • Maintain requirements mapping to threats/risks, ensuring credibility with vendors.
  • Align requirements with the EV Charger subsidy tech spec.
  • Analyze end-to-end solutions from SAPN back-end OT systems to customer equipment.
  • Contribute to technical specifications for production-scale utility servers.
  • Represent SAPN and provide input to national conversations on cyber standards through DEIP ISC.
  • Perform gap analysis of the existing 2030.5 interface.

About the Job

This is a six-month initial period, with potential extension for up to another twelve months based on performance. The salary for this role is estimated at $140,000 per annum, considering the company's location and industry standards. However, please note that actual compensation may vary depending on individual circumstances.
