About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing a team of cyber security analysts in responding to cyber-attacks, improving defensive controls, and enhancing threat intelligence capabilities.
- Directing the team in investigating security breaches, implementing countermeasures, and analysing activity on organisation servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Managing all aspects of technical security incident response from initiation to conclusion.
- Liaising with stakeholders, customers, and other teams to provide updates and ensure effective incident management.
- Incident Response Management: Managing technical security incident response from initiation to conclusion, assessing incidents, determining resources needed, containing and resolving incidents, and documenting activities.
- Threat Intelligence and Continuous Improvement: Overseeing threat intelligence collection and analysis, driving continuous improvement in threat intelligence, developing and implementing strategies, owning and driving uplift in CTI capabilities and processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Technical Expertise: Engaging with stakeholders across various cyber security threats, managing security partners and services, and providing technical expertise.
- Team Leadership and Performance: Leading a team of cyber security analysts, ensuring team goals are met, aligned with business objectives and values, and promoting professional growth.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in handling cyber security incident response and threat intelligence.
- Able to mentor and develop a growing team, with international experience.
- Proven ability to manage crisis situations, perform under pressure, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant technical qualifications, such as incident response certification (GCIH) or threat intelligence certification (GCTI).
- An Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance.
