About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing a team of cyber security analysts in responding to cyber-attacks, improving defensive controls, and enhancing threat intelligence capabilities.

  • Directing the team in investigating security breaches, implementing countermeasures, and analysing activity on organisation servers, networks, and cloud environments.
  • Managing all aspects of technical security incident response from initiation to conclusion.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, customers, and other teams to provide updates and ensure effective incident management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Response Management: Managing technical security incident response from initiation to conclusion, assessing incidents, determining resources needed, containing and resolving incidents, and documenting activities.
  • Threat Intelligence and Continuous Improvement: Overseeing threat intelligence collection and analysis, driving continuous improvement in threat intelligence, developing and implementing strategies, owning and driving uplift in CTI capabilities and processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Technical Expertise: Engaging with stakeholders across various cyber security threats, managing security partners and services, and providing technical expertise.
  • Team Leadership and Performance: Leading a team of cyber security analysts, ensuring team goals are met, aligned with business objectives and values, and promoting professional growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in handling cyber security incident response and threat intelligence.
  • Able to mentor and develop a growing team, with international experience.
  • Proven ability to manage crisis situations, perform under pressure, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant technical qualifications, such as incident response certification (GCIH) or threat intelligence certification (GCTI).
  • An Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance.
