Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Investigative Reporting Manager to join our team at HSBC Australia. As a key member of our Financial Crime Investigations team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality investigations and reporting processes in line with local regulatory requirements and internal framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into high-risk and high-priority AML CTF matters, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) to the regulator in a timely and accurate manner, meeting internal and external service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders at a country, regional, and global level to ensure effective delivery of strategic initiatives and Management Information (MI).
  • Support the Manager, Investigative Reporting in the development and implementation of quality control frameworks and training programs.
  • Identify and lead opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in FCC compliance or investigations functions, with a strong understanding of local AML CTF regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw inferences from data and drive conclusions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in sharing information effectively in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a pressured, turn-around time-driven environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
