About the Role:

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking an experienced Executive Manager Whistleblowing Investigations to join its Legal and Group Secretariat team. As a key member of the SpeakUP team, you will be responsible for conducting fair, impartial, and timely investigations and culture reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations and culture reviews with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Follow established investigative and review processes, including participant support processes.
  • Draft clear, considered, and accurate allegation letters and findings reports.
  • Engage with investigation participants clearly, confidently, and with care.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide input and insights into SpeakUP's management and governance reporting.
  • Support the maintenance of SpeakUP's investigation manual and related templates.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law or another relevant field.
  • 7+ years' experience in workplace investigations, litigation, culture reviews, or other investigative processes.
  • Knowledge of Australia's corporate statutory whistleblower regime and experience in lending misconduct and fraud investigations.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including experience writing clear allegation letters and findings reports.
