Position Overview

Are you an enthusiastic leader dedicated to achieving excellence? We are looking for a dynamic Venue Operations Director to oversee and manage all facets of our establishment in the Hills District of Sydney. This role presents a unique chance to refine your expertise in a diverse environment, providing authentic hospitality and service excellence while meeting business objectives. You will have considerable autonomy to innovate and enhance future events.

The Establishment

This venue, influenced by its local heritage and scenic surroundings, boasts a charming interior, outdoor deck areas, bars, upscale dining and beverage selections, along with a designated function and entertainment space.

As the Venue Operations Director/Licensee, you will report to the Group General Manager and supervise five department heads. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Driving revenue growth and ensuring agile management practices to achieve targets.
  • Implementing company policies and ensuring comprehensive compliance across all operations.
  • Leading all human resources functions, including training, mentoring, and developing talent pipelines for leadership positions.
  • Overseeing marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales and events, and financial management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a Venue Operations Director role within a high-volume establishment.
  • A robust operational background in Food & Beverage management.
  • Exceptional presentation, outstanding communication skills, and hands-on service delivery.
  • A passion for nurturing large teams and being an effective team player.
  • Strong business and financial insight.
