Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Weekend Housekeeping Assistant at Thornbury Castle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our bedrooms and public areas, providing exceptional service to our guests and supporting our hotel team.

About Us

Thornbury Castle is a unique and beautifully restored 15th-century castle located in an idyllic setting. Our hotel offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and two meeting and conference spaces.

Our goal is to deliver refined and personalised hospitality, enabling our guests to relax, enjoy themselves, and have a break from normal life.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing, and refreshing linen and towels.
  • Clean and tidy public areas ready for guests.
  • Restock guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collaterals.
  • Engage with guests where required.
  • Report any maintenance deficiencies to the housekeeping manager.
Requirements
  • Able to work part-time permanent position, weekends only, with a 10:30am start to 2:30pm finish.
  • One evening turndown shift per week.
  • Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
