Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Motorcycle Response Specialist to join our team.

As a Motorcycle Response Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing first response services to traffic incidents on major roads and highways. Your responsibilities will include working closely with emergency services, providing road trauma first aid, and operating a range of vehicles to support civil maintenance activities.

About the Role

  • Respond to traffic incidents/breakdowns along major roads and highways
  • Support situational incident response officers as required
  • Ensure safety for team members, road users, and other parties while managing critical incidents
  • Operate various vehicles to assist with civil maintenance support
  • Collaborate with emergency services and provide road trauma first aid when needed
  • Perform emergency make-safe activities for road network restoration

Key Requirements

  • Hold a valid motorcycle and MR drivers' license with no court cancellations or suspensions
  • Demonstrate strong experience in motor cycle operations and incident management (minimum 5 years)
  • Be able to work day and night shifts, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and remain level-headed under pressure
  • Maintain a construction white card and full working rights in Australia
