About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workplace Health and Safety Manager to lead our team in ensuring a safe working environment for our staff and guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies and business planning, monitoring and reviewing performance against health and safety key performance indicators, maintaining knowledge of regulatory requirements, and developing systems to enhance workplace health and safety.

Priorities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead the WHS function and team, implementing strategies and business planning.
  • Monitor and review performance against health and safety key performance indicators.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all regulatory requirements impacting health, safety, and injury management, as well as their effect on operational practices within the company's compliance framework.
  • Develop systems that empower employees to enhance workplace health and safety through participation in committees, hazard identification, and the adoption of safe work practices.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exhibit an exceptional attention to detail and solutions focus.
  • Be calm under pressure with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple programs of work within legislative frameworks.
  • Demonstrated depth of experience in WHS Management and relevant qualifications.
