Our organization is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to drive positive safety practices across the organization.
About the Role:This role will play a key part in developing and maintaining our workplace health and safety strategy, as well as providing expert advice and support to employees and leaders on meeting relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our WHS strategy and safety action plans
- Support and develop direct reports
- Maintain a sound knowledge of current WHS legislation, policies, and guidelines
- Provide guidance on incident investigation and resolution, hazard identification, and near-miss reporting
- Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and documentation
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety legislation
- Proven capability to provide expert advice and support to employees and leaders in meeting WHS legislative and regulatory requirements
- The ability to travel to provide support as required
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (must be maintained)
- A current national Police Check (must be maintained)
- A current unrestricted driver's licence
