Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, a Senior Financial Manager is required to lead Financial Operations, Finance Systems, and drive the broader Finance Improvement program.

This leadership role requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders, finding opportunities for continuous improvement, and driving outcomes. Key responsibilities include implementing best practices for financial operations, enhancing workplace culture, and developing career roadmaps for the team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing their team and implementing a positive workplace culture. They must enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders and finding opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of more than 50 direct and indirect reports
  • Integration of finance analysts, finance systems, and finance improvement activities to drive continuous improvement and standardization
  • Talent management, including career roadmaps and development plans for the team
  • Providing cost-effective financial analysis resources to deliver program requirements
  • Oversight of team to deliver high-quality deliverables, including EACs, EVM, Project Accounting, Invoicing, and Forecasts

Preferred qualifications include postgraduate professional membership with CPA/CAANZ or equivalent, proven leadership skills, demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to deliver on-time with high quality.
