About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Community Nurse in Port Macquarie, providing essential care to elderly customers in the comfort of their own homes.

This casual or part-time position requires you to be available for 3 days a week during business hours, Monday to Friday. You will play a crucial role in delivering a wide range of clinical support services, including wound care, medication administration, and continence management.

You will work closely with families, General Practitioners, and our KinCare team to ensure a holistic approach to our customers' well-being, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.

About you:

  • Full AHPRA registration
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Minimum 3 regular days per week availability (Mon-Fri)
  • Driver's licence with a reliable and insured vehicle
  • The ability to be flexible, resilient, and make strong decisions
  • Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

About the salary:

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $35-$45 AUD per hour, paid kilometres between services, and access to in-house training and development opportunities.
