Nurse Coordinator

Job Summary:
The NSW Government is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality person-centered nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (Mo H) and Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality person-centered nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (Mo H) and Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD).
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to plan, deliver, and coordinate patient care.
- Use problem-solving skills and effective communication to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others.
- Apply knowledge and understanding of person-centered care, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.
- Practice in accordance with legislation, policies, and within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Participate in a 24-hour/seven-day rotating roster, including working all shifts, all days of the week, including public holidays.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or relevant acute hospital settings.
- Demonstrated ability to use technology, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of person-centered care, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.
