About the Role
The NSW Government is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Coffs Harbour.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality person-centered nursing care in accordance with NSW Health policy directives and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to plan, deliver, and coordinate patient care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide effective communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in a 24-hour/seven-day rotating roster, including working all shifts, all days of the week, including public holidays.
Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or relevant acute hospital settings.
- Demonstrated ability to use problem-solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in patient care.
- Knowledge and understanding of person-centered care, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24-hour/seven-day rotating roster.
