Job Description

As a Community and Stakeholder Manager, you will play a key role in the development of renewable energy projects. You will lead community and stakeholder engagement for projects, ensuring successful development and delivery.

  • 5-7 years' experience in onshore utility scale renewable energy projects in Australia
  • Demonstrated track record in influencing community engagement program design and delivery
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating community engagement across a portfolio of projects
  • An understanding of sustainability reporting requirements such as GRESB and SFDR Article 9

You will work closely with development and construction teams to build relationships with communities, key stakeholders, and First Nations communities. Your expertise will drive engagement strategies, including meetings programs, stakeholder mapping, and community events.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can lead stakeholder engagement, coach and support development and delivery teams, and develop project communications collateral. You will be expected to travel to regional areas and offices regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead community and stakeholder engagement for projects
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies
  • Drive ESG strategies at the project level
  • Coach and support development and delivery teams
  • Develop project communications collateral

Requirements:

  • Direct experience in a project developer, utility, energy, or infrastructure business
  • Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships
  • Degree in environmental, engineering, planning, science, or business-based subject
  • Proven ability to lead and implement systems and processes for stakeholder insights
