Do you want to work with IT equipment in an outdoor environment? Join our SecureTech field services team and enjoy a unique blend of traditional and modern tasks.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for preventative and break-fix support for car park equipment, including cutting-edge kiosks. Your role will involve identifying software and hardware issues, performing maintenance, installing cables, configuring and testing hardware and software, and documenting equipment configurations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and repair software and hardware issues within car park equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance on car park equipment to prevent issues.
  • Install cables and equipment, configure and test hardware and software.
  • Document equipment locations and configurations.
  • Run diagnostic programs or use test equipment to locate issue sources.
  • Record information on issues, their symptoms, diagnostic steps taken and results, and resolution steps, including travel time and time spent on site.
  • Regularly monitor the incoming work queue and ensure issues are assigned and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with landlords, customer service representatives and leadership team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires good organisational and communications skills, logical troubleshooting ability, and foundational understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, CCTV concepts, basic network concepts, and intermediate PC skills.

A data or electrical trade license would be highly regarded, and a current unrestricted driver's license is necessary due to our roster schedule.

Estimated Salary: AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
