At Aurex Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Development Project Manager to lead our flagship development project in Western Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project to achieve the best outcomes for the group and its partners.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to take control of one of our major development projects, utilizing your experience to manage all aspects of the assigned program. Your high level of technical expertise, combined with strong autonomy and leadership skills, will enable you to drive a highly important project program delivering civil infrastructure and land development for future industrial, commercial, and retail built-form product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of the groups major development project in Western Sydney;
  • Ensure compliance with HSE system and risk management procedures;
  • Manage and report on the financial performance of projects, budgets, tender evaluations, Revised Annual Forecasts, variations, cashflows, and forecasts;
  • Manage design and value management, including consultant engagement, design reviews, documentation approvals, and assisting in construction advice for new project bids;
  • Prepare and present reports on Monthly Project Development, project status to internal stakeholders, and project Lessons Learnt reviews;
  • Manage Customer contractual agreements, preparing and presenting reports to Customers, and building positive Customer relationships;
  • Manage Principal Contractors in liaison with the NSW General Manager, including tendering, contract awards, programme, dispute resolution, preparing scope of works, and variations;
  • Ensure the implementation of, and compliance with, the Quality Management System, including defect rectification and post-completion issues;
  • Manage the design and tender phase programmes, updating programmes to stakeholders, and identifying risks and opportunities;
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Property, Construction, Finance, Engineering or equivalent field;
  • Strong track record in development, construction and projects with exposure to resource allocation, cost management and reporting;
  • Strong people skills and can manage ambiguity and constant changes effectively;
  • Exposure to compliance and safety knowledge;
  • Current working knowledge of the NSW planning environment;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients and meet shifting priorities and deadlines;
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills;
  • Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth and development.
