We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Planning Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Senior Transportation Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical competencies of state DOT planning and modal staff to meet client needs and market drivers. You will collaborate with Practice Group members to elevate statewide multimodal planning practice and help state DOT clients set strategic goals and design implementable policies.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining technical competencies of state DOT planning and modal staff to meet client needs and market drivers.
  • Collaborating with Practice Group members to elevate statewide multimodal planning practice and help state DOT clients set strategic goals and design implementable policies.
  • Identifying market opportunities and developing winning pursuit strategies; assisting with local and national pursuits.
  • Monitoring transportation policies at federal, state, and local levels involving all modes of transportation and helping clients develop strategic plans.
  • Working with other Practice Leaders to develop transformative ideas that enable clients to take advantage of emerging transportation trends and future-proof investments.
  • Driving open communication with Practice Group members regarding production needs; collaborating with areas to influence staffing and expertise levels.
  • Identifying industry talent and working with Area and Corporate leadership to attract and retain staff.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or closely related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience and extensive related expertise.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, organizational and follow-up skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Planning, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred. Professional registration such as AICP, PE, PTOE, PTP, PMP is also preferred.

Compensation range depends on skills, experience, education, and location. Primary Location: United States.
