
PV Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Solar Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance across our fleet of commercial solar PV systems.
About the RoleThe Solar Operations Coordinator will work closely with our service team to provide engineering, auxiliary and sales support. This includes receiving and actioning customer inquiries, managing rectifications, coordinating warranty cases, and communicating with clients about concerns and how to improve their experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service/Support: Receive, action or redirect inbound enquiries to relevant personnel, handle requests from customers such as updating contact details, reports and data, concerns with system performance and general enquiries.
- Rectification Management and Scheduling: Assist the Service Team in coordinating and managing rectifications on our sites using our ticketing system, including receiving job briefs, creating cases, coordinating contractors, confirming access, and ensuring all reports and invoices are received and processed.
- Warranty Management: Assist the Service Team in coordinating warranty cases for existing sites, including coordinating testing, receiving test results, submitting to OEMs for approval, and processing labour and warranty reimbursements with suppliers.
- Customer Success: Communicate with existing clients about concerns and how to improve the customer experience and existing solutions.
- General Administration: Ensure timely completion of general administrative tasks, communication with relevant personnel, including reporting, monthly reporting, submitting documentation, and keeping CRM and ticketing systems up to date.
- Procurement: Place orders for materials required on site, manage and source quotes from suppliers, and approve invoices for processing.
- Document Creation and Improvement: Assist the Head of Service in creating and improving internal and external documentation and processes used by SCS.
- Handover from Projects: Aid the Service Team in finalising system details and setting up a PV System onto internal monitoring systems and database.
- Database Updating: Aid the Service team in updating and finalising system details in the database for new and existing PV systems.
- Service Sales Assistance: Reach out to existing and new customers for the sale of PV System O&M packages, including finding new leads and communicating with old customers who have passed their existing workmanship period.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of the electricity industry and photovoltaic systems.
- Experience with rooftop, ground mount systems and hybrid solar systems.
- Independent thinking, ability to identify procedural and technical issues, and suggest workable solutions.
- Organisation skills, able to work on multiple issues at once.
- Able to maintain excellent internal and external working relationships, including those with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
