Electrical Engineering Technician

This is a highly specialized role that involves the installation of solar PV systems and electrical wiring.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan installation methods to ensure compliance with industry safety standards and best practices.
  • Install solar PV systems, including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, and installation of main switches.
  • Oversee the installation process, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Coordinate with labor crew for efficient installation.

Key Requirements:

  • Competent knowledge of PV installation and dry fire protection related electrical works.
  • A solid understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation, Australian Standards, and industry codes.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or above certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • A valid and up-to-date White Card.
  • A valid and up-to-date Working at height certificate.
  • A valid and up-to-date Driver's license.
