About the Role:

Lancemore Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Fine Dining Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill. Located in the heart of Red Hill, on 34 stunning acres of gardens and vines, our luxury boutique hotel offers a stylish escape with European country style and a distinctly Australian twist.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role with a restaurant or banquet background and possess a high degree of passion for high-quality food and wine. They will also demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to motivate and engage a team to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team delivering exceptional fine dining experiences in our one-hatted chef dining and event spaces.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and overseeing inventory and ordering of supplies.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities and maintain cost control, curate seasonal beverage lists, and oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of restaurant staff.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, addressing customer concerns or complaints, and ensuring that service standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor and manage the restaurant's budget, including controlling costs, setting menu prices, and maximising revenue through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Work with the chef to develop menus that reflect the hotel's culinary style and meet customer preferences, while also ensuring consistency and quality of food and beverage offerings.
  • Plan and coordinate special events, private parties, and functions held at the restaurant, including menu selection, staffing, and logistics.
