About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at JLL. As the Onsite Facilities Officer - Handy Person, you will play a pivotal role in providing our client with a professional, responsive, and effective level of service specifically related to various facilities functions within their site.

Key Responsibilities

  • General repairs and maintenance of all aspects of the client's property portfolio
  • Minor building work and furniture repairs/alterations
  • Remove and/or install whiteboards, plaques, signage, and screens
  • Patching and painting as required
  • Building exterior maintenance
  • Support the Facilities team in administrative functions, minor works projects, and reporting as and when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role
  • Trade certification or license in a relevant field will be highly regarded
  • Experience using hand or power equipment
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • This role has the responsibility and duty of care to work safely and to protect yours and fellow workers' health and safety. You must comply with the requirements of health and safety guidelines, policies, and rules.
  • You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our client's requirements with the ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Australian Security Clearance (DFAT)
