Cyber Security Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Advisor to join our team at Lockheed Martin Australia.
As a Security Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the security measures for the protection of LM Sensitive Information and government and defense classified assets, information, and data.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with and working closely with Information Systems Security staff on facility changes.
- Applying security facility access measures across the classified facilities.
- Ensuring all local security policies and procedures are being adhered to across all facilities.
- Ensuring access and identification procedures are executed to ensure all staff are provided with, and maintain valid security passes and facility access arrangements, including the issue and control of site access IDs and passes.
- Managing and controlling classified holdings in site security containers, both A and B class containers.
- Providing support to programs that have specific security requirements.
- Managing personnel clearance requirements.
- Ensuring security systems and container maintenance requirements are managed and providing administrative management to applied security alarm and access systems.
- Assisting corporate security and the regional security representatives with the development and update of crisis management planning and execution for the Canberra office.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Knowledge of the use and purpose of security classifications and categorization guides.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience/exposure to a similar role in defense or government as a site security officer.
- Relevant experience in defense security processes and protocols.
- Security risk management experience or qualifications.
- Completion of DSD security officers' course.
- Experience in applications of facility certification and accreditation activities.
- Experience working to defense security policy requirements, processes, and tools.
