Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this role is between $90,000 and $120,000 AUD, depending on experience.
Job Description: Payroll ManagerThe successful candidate will oversee the efficient delivery of all payroll services through leadership of the payroll team. Key responsibilities include:
- Administration of the payroll function, including accurate preparation, calculation, and disbursement of compensation and deductions.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial employment standards and legislation.
- Developing an effective working relationship across business areas, focusing on communication, issue identification, escalation management, and process improvement.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the Payroll Manager will also be responsible for ensuring risk and quality control for payroll transactions and data, as well as implementing audit processes to ensure accuracy.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
- Strong Australian payroll, superannuation, and tax legislation knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience building new payroll service teams.
- Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams.
- Pragmatic problem-solving skills with strong decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills with strong communication abilities.
