About the Role:

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for driving the acquisition, retention, and growth of WA-based corporate partnerships.
  • They will research and target organisations aligned with the organisation's mission, developing compelling proposals, presentations, and tailored business cases for support.
  • They will implement a WA-specific partnership strategy and annual business plan, leading local engagement events to strengthen corporate relationships.
  • They will also forecast revenue, track pipeline activity, and provide monthly performance reports.
  • Collaboration with national teams is essential to ensure an aligned strategy and consistent partnership delivery.
  • Working with internal stakeholders (marketing, research, programs) is also crucial to support partnership goals.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for WA-based partners and prospects will be a key responsibility.
  • Supporting negotiations and securing long-term, high-value commitments is expected.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship, or B2B relationship management is essential.
  • A solid understanding of CSR, cause marketing, and fundraising in the not-for-profit or commercial sector is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentations, are necessary.
  • Confidence in networking, negotiating, and building trust with senior stakeholders is vital.
  • High-level organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Experience with forecasting, reporting, and CRM or pipeline management is desirable.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally is critical.
  • Passion for community health and driving meaningful outcomes is a must.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional after-hours events or meetings, and travel as required, is needed.
