This is an opportunity to contribute to a national initiative focused on combating child sexual abuse.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing sector capacity and delivering evidence-based resources that prioritize lived experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate and deliver professional learning activities, including workshops, webinars, e-learning and blended courses.
- Apply adult learning principles to create inclusive, engaging and practical learning experiences across diverse contexts.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with practitioners, stakeholders and individuals with lived experience.
- Collaborate with experts to ensure safe, ethical and supported engagement with survivors, informing all initiatives.
- Oversee projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in social sciences, education or community development, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering capability-building initiatives, preferably within the health, community or social services sectors.
- Confident facilitation skills, enabling the delivery of engaging and inclusive trainings, workshops and professional learning programs tailored to diverse audiences.
- Adept at translating complex evidence into practical resources and tools driving practice change.
- Experience engaging respectfully with people with lived experience, ensuring their voices shape outcomes.
- Natural collaboration skills, exceling at building and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
- High flexibility and agility, adapting quickly to emerging needs, shifting priorities and evolving sector contexts.
- Alignment with the mission to disrupt child sexual abuse and bring about systemic change.
- Trauma-informed, ethical and survivor-engaged approach, understanding the critical importance of working in partnership with people with lived experience.
