Sector Development Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work at the National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse, a national purpose-driven organisation dedicated to addressing child sexual abuse.

As Sector Development Lead, you will play a vital role in building sector capability and delivering evidence-based learning and resources that centre Lived and Living Experience to strengthen responses to child sexual abuse and improve outcomes for victims and survivors.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications in social sciences, education, community development or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. They will also possess demonstrated experience designing and delivery capability-building initiatives, ideally within the health, community or social services sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deliver Professional Learning Activities: Plan, coordinate and deliver workshops, webinars, e-learning and blended courses to meet the needs of diverse sector contexts.
  • Apply Adult Learning Principles: Design inclusive, engaging and practical learning experiences that cater to the needs of adult learners across different sectors.
  • Build Relationships with Stakeholders: Foster effective relationships with practitioners, sector partners, victims and survivors, and other key stakeholders in consultation with the National Centre.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with the Lived Experience Team to ensure safe, ethical and supported engagement with survivors, so their expertise meaningfully informs all initiatives.
  • Manage Projects: Oversee projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
