Job Opportunity: Palliative Care Registrar

Job Description:

This fixed-term, full-time role involves providing palliative care reviews to patients and ensuring that medical clinical care is delivered to patients of the Palliative Care service under the supervision of a Specialist-in-charge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Commitment to engage with our Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action
  • Unrestricted NSW Medical Board Registration or eligibility for Unrestricted NSW Registration
  • Primary Medical degree, eligible for Medical Board registration, and a minimum of two years supervised practice as an RMO
  • Experience in Palliative Medicine or related specialty with competence in the individual specialty area expected to be consistent with the level of training and professional development stage attained by the individual occupying the position
  • Strong administrative and computer skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Current Driver's License
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
  • Organisational ability - both personal organisation and ability to supervise others
  • Demonstrated compassion and caring attitude
