Landcare NSW is the representative body of the Landcare movement in NSW, advocating for the interests of community Landcarers and providing support to Landcare groups across the state.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Community of Practice Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering the NSW Landcare Program, working closely with Regional Landcare Coordinators and Local Landcare Coordinators to build the capacity and resources of Landcare networks and groups in NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver the Regional Community of Practice component of the NSW Landcare Program
  • Develop and implement Regional Priority Plans, ensuring alignment with the strategic and operational plans of Landcare NSW
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Regional Landcare Coordinators and Local Landcare Coordinators
  • Identify skills gaps and training needs, and provide professional development and training opportunities to mitigate these gaps
  • Monitor the performance of Regional Landcare Coordinators and Local Landcare Coordinators, and provide feedback and guidance to improve performance
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners to achieve the strategic objectives of Landcare NSW
Requirements
  • Five years minimum of industry experience delivering programs of a complex and multifaceted nature, preferably in natural resource management
  • Tertiary education in Natural Resource Management or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven project management skills, using best practice project management software and methodology
  • High level of expertise with Microsoft Office
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to think strategically and present ideas to the team
  • Entrepreneurial by nature, with experience in business development and/or fundraising
