The role of a Facilities Maintenance Professional involves performing various tasks to ensure facilities are functional and in good condition. Regularly inspecting assigned areas and performing maintenance is essential to maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of buildings and grounds.
Main Responsibilities:- Carry out scheduled checklists for building and equipment maintenance, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Repair fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, appliances, and office equipment efficiently and effectively.
- Report major maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Prior experience in maintenance roles is preferred, but not essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Able to follow safety procedures due to physical risks involved in the role.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is necessary.
This role may involve physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be provided.
