CMC Markets is seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our Product team for an 18-month Fixed Term Contract. Key Responsibilities

  1. User-Centric Design & Research: Champion the voice of the user by conducting research, usability testing, and feedback loops to ensure that our digital products meet the needs of our customers.
  2. Design & Deliver High-Quality Solutions: Create and refine user flows, prototypes, and polished UI designs from concept to launch, ensuring brand consistency and a seamless user experience.
  3. Enhance the Design System: Contribute to our design system by collaborating with engineers to refine and deliver reusable components and patterns, ensuring consistency across our digital products.
  4. Support Team Adoption & Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent design implementation, offering guidance and answering questions to ensure a smooth design process.
  5. Collaborate on Product Strategy & Execution: Contribute to product strategy discussions and help break down initiatives into actionable design tasks, ensuring that our digital products meet the needs of our customers.
  6. Documentation & Process Improvement: Assist in maintaining design documentation and contribute ideas to streamline UX processes, ensuring that our design team is working efficiently and effectively.
  7. Facilitate Workshops & Stakeholder Communication: Lead collaborative design sessions and communicate progress to stakeholders through presentations and updates, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the design process.
  8. Promote Design Best Practices: Advocate for Human-Centered Design principles and share knowledge to elevate design quality across the team, ensuring that our digital products are user-centered and meet the needs of our customers.
  9. Professional Growth & Compliance: Stay updated on industry trends and complete mandatory compliance training to meet the evolving demands of the role, ensuring that our design team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Designer with 3-5 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects and experience with design systems. You should be proficient in design tools like Figma and knowledgeable in responsive/adaptive design principles. You should also be skilled in user research, HCD principles, and applying UX best practices.
