Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Certified Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Pet Insurance Claims Specialist. As a key member of our claims team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing claims with attention to detail, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package of $70,000 - $73,000 AUD per annum, reflecting their experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Deliver friendly, professional support to customers across multiple communication channels.
  • Claims Processing: Accurately process and evaluate claims with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Keep customers updated and reassured at every stage of the claims process.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Analysis: Analyse policy and medical data to make confident, well-informed decisions on claims.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certified Veterinary Nurse: You are a Certified Veterinary Nurse with a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of animals and their owners.
  • Customer Service Skills: You have a strong foundation in Customer Service and excel at fostering meaningful, long-term relationships.
  • Medical Knowledge: With hands-on experience in a veterinary setting, you're comfortable analysing and interpreting medical details to support your customers.
  • Organisational Skills: Your organisational skills are top-notch, and you thrive when working in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.
  • Empathy and Communication: You demonstrate a deep sense of empathy, always offering reassurance and support to customers in need.
