Intensive Care Nurse Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an Intensive Care Registered Nurse in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and compassionate care.

  • You will have the chance to develop your skills and progress your career with more responsibility and autonomy than you would get in larger hospitals.
  • You will also supervise and mentor ENs and AINs and students on clinical placement, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop.
About the Position

The ideal candidate will have current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a postgraduate or minimum Graduate Certificate qualification in Intensive Care, Coronary Care, or Critical Care.

  • Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
  • Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
